Yoga for Pregnancy

Pregnancy Yoga

  

Classes are suitable from week 12 of your pregnancy, right up until birth.  


Classes are a calm and supportive place to meet and share, for women only, therefore a great way to meet other mothers-to-be. 


Yoga can benefit pregnant women in lots of different ways. Staying active through light exercise is good for your body and your baby. 


Yoga for pregnancy offers many benefits, relaxation, better sleep, soothes aches and pains and feel more positive. 


During the classes  you will focus on deep breathing and different positions that can be used throughout labour and birth, which can make you feel more confident about giving birth.

Pregnancy Relaxation

The course runs for 6 weeks, lasting for 1hr 15 mins, enabling you to relax in your pregnancy. 


Each week will consist of 


*   Welcome and Introductions

*   Mindful Breathing Exercise

*   Weekly topic including discussion

*   Weekly Relaxation 

*   Time for a chat 

 

Topics covered will be 


Week 1 - Relaxation in Pregnancy 

Week 2 - Sleep in Pregnancy 

Week 3 - Fear in Pregnancy and Birth 

Week 4 - Healthy Choices

Week 5 - Preparing for Birth 

Week  6 - Oxytocin for Birth 


Booking is essential -  prepare to make yourself comfortable, close your eyes, relax your whole body and bond with your baby
