I am passionate about birth and offering support throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond to enable a positive experience.
I aim to support parents physically and emotionally. Therefore, making sure that wishes and decisions are heard, while paying close attention to your needs.
Mother and Baby yoga strengthens and tones muscles, focusing especially on the muscles affected by giving birth –
tummy, pelvic floor and back.
Yoga can improve sleep, help relax and improve fitness and posture.
Mother and Baby yoga offers lots of benefits for baby – from calming and relaxing them, to helping their reflexes develop.
It can improve their awareness of their surroundings,
Classes are for mothers and babies only, a great way to meet other mums and bond with your baby

Yoga for Pregnancy offers special benefits such as,

Classes focus on physical learning and helping you to connect with your body and baby. From deep breathing to different positions enabling you to feel more positive and confident about giving birth.

Baby massage is a lovely way to strengthen the bond between you and your baby.
Parents, grandparents and anyone else caring for your baby can use baby massage to put your baby at ease. It’s a great way to build confidence about getting hands-on with your little one.
Baby massage can help soothe your baby’s tummy troubles, help their bowels and reduce trapped wind. It can also soothe and relax babies, and some parents report that it helps their baby sleep.
Great way to meet other mums/carers.
Time for discussion/chat at end of each session

My role as a birth doula would be to provide continuous one-to-one support throughout labour and birth, reassuring all the way.
The relationship built and continuity of care will positively impact your birth.
Research has found that continuous support during labour and birth is beneficial for women and for their babies.
The priority for some women is being with someone who makes them feel comfortable and who they know and trust.
I will be on call for you for two weeks
either side of your due date
. We will practice breathing and relaxation techniques for labour and birth.
Birth Doula - £525.00 -
within 30 miles Bury St Edmunds thereafter 0.45p per mile.
Birth Doula with hypnobirthing £695.00
Hypnobirthing will give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to have a positive birth, regardless of where you give birth.
Hypnobirthing can support you to release the fears you may have about childbirth.
Techniques are taught that your birth partner can use to support you and enable Hypnobirthing will give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to have a positive birth, regardless of where you give birth.
Hypnobirthing can support you to release fears that you may ha calm and positive birth.
Experience a more comfortable labour.
The length of labour is often shorter when using Hypnobirthing.
It is more likely that you will require no or fewer drugs and less medical intervention.
Positions to help you birth your baby more easily and comfortably
Breathing techniques that work with your body to maximise your body’s own natural expulsive reflex, so you may birth your baby more gently

Each week you will be with the same group of women in a safe and relaxed space, whereby you can release any fears, support each other and form friendships that will be invaluable to you during pregnancy and in the postnatal period.

Hi, I’m Paula,
I trained and qualified with the NCT as a birth doula, pregnancy yoga and mother & baby yoga teacher and baby massage teacher.
I have recently trainied as a Hypnobirthing Teacher with The Little Birth Company.
I am currently training as a breastfeeding peer supporter for my local hospital.
I am passionate that parents receive support, information and relaxation techniques to feel prepared and confident to achieve a positive birth experience.
I cover Bury St Edmunds which is in Suffolk and surrounding areas within a 30-mile radius.
I am married and have three children, aged, 17, 15 and 12. I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and cycling, skiing (although a bit rusty) and meeting up with friends.
